Gregg Steinhafel is a former CEO and chairman of Target Corporation, a large retail company headquartered in the United States. He served as CEO from 2008 to 2014 and chairman from 2008 to 2015.
Steinhafel joined Target in 1979 and held various positions within the company before becoming CEO. During his tenure, Target faced challenges such as a massive data breach in 2013 that exposed the personal information of millions of customers. Steinhafel resigned in May 2014 in the wake of the data breach and other disappointing financial results.
After leaving Target, Steinhafel has remained out of the public eye and has not held any prominent corporate positions.
